When Pooja and Jan Weller returned to Germany from California in 2001 they decided to create a watch brand that reflected the active yet relaxed beach lifestyle they had enjoyed at so many beaches all over the world. The next two years they spent researching in order to learn everything about the watch market and find the best possible materials to put their ideas to life. In 2003 they founded the SeaSurfer® brand that, since then, has stood for an unpretentious, state-of-the-art, sporty design, and for uncompromising quality and function as well as an excellent price-performance ratio.

2005 saw the successful launches of the Equinox-Line and the Day Break collection. Like all SeaSurfer watches, the watches of this collection are made from the toughest 316L stainless steel. They are equipped with precision Japan movements, wristbands of the finest leather or stainless steel and they are – no doubt about that – all water resistant.

SeaSurfer watches are neither a status symbol nor a fashion accessory, but they are a statement nonetheless. A statement for the ocean, the waves, the sand, the summer and for enjoying the sun – simply put a statement for the time spent at the beach.
